Tumblr

From now on I will mainly just be posting to Tumblr. It's short, Twitter-esque style of quick updates suits me. Especially as I have a good Tumblr app on my Android.

Anyway - here is the address. Stay tuned.

The Return

Ok, so I figured I would try and get this blog up and running again. It's been dormant for about 18 months, but I feel it's time to get it back on it's feet. Especially now that I have an Android I should be able to blog on the go - so hopefully I will be able to keep it reasonably current with on-the-spot updates. We'll see anyway.

Here are 18 things that I have learned in the last 18 months (in no particular order):

- Vegemite is basically a saltier Marmite.
- Based on their number of Twitter followers, Misha Collins is considerably more popular than both Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
- Drinking a 'Flaming Dr Pepper' will render you utterly useless within about 1 hour.
- Wisdom teeth are nothing but trouble.
- Osaka people are a lot more... 'receptive' than Tokyo people.
- Never mix milk and antibiotics.
- After drinking, no matter how enticing monkey bars may appear - stay clear of them.
- Apparently there is such a thing as a 'Techno Viking'.
- Android phones are as infuriating as they are useful.
- People call me 'The Weatherman'.
- It is far easier to get onto the roofs of many buildings in Tokyo than you would expect.
- People love glow stick bracelets.
- Caffeine is a considerably stronger drug than people give it credit for.
- Crocs become uncomfortable to wear after about 2 hours.
- Yoyogi park on a Sunday morning is full of wonderfully crazy people.
- Drinking oolong tea can supposedly increase your metabolism by up to 10%.
- Puma trainers are always smaller than other brands' trainers of the same size.
- I am now almost entirely out of touch with popular culture. What is a 'Justin Bieber'?

Anyway, hope that provided some enlightenment. I will endeavour to keep this thing up to date again. Stay tuned...

BxOxTxC

I made the blue/red BxOxTxC image from my previous post (based on Alex's original awesome T-shirt design) into some some desktop backgrounds for my laptop.

They are in 1280x800 resolution.

BxOxTxC Tees

Am compelled to endorse this as it is well good.

Head over to this blog and keep an eye on this upcoming new brand of awesome. Remember, when the end comes, you'll want to be wearing something stylish. I intend to be wearing BxOxTxC.

Nuff said.

Decisions, decisions

Here we find ourselves once more - the dilemma of which pair of trainers to purchase.

Our choices:

1) Etnies Digit II - available for £30. At present I do not own any skater-style trainers, so they would fill a gap in my collection. I like the pink/white/black colour scheme, although I'm usually not a massive fan of wearing black. I do rather enjoy the bright coloured soles however.

2) Gola Eboy Hi-Tops - available for £40. I'm not sure how I feel about these - on the one hand, I'm not a massive fan of high-tops, nor a particular fan of these trainers' retro stylings. That being said, I am a fan of Eboy's designs and the opportunity to own a pair of limited edition Gola/Eboy collaborative trainers does interest me considerably - especially given their recently discounted price.

As always, your input is appreciated :)

Glitch

I just watched the new advert for Glitch's new album. I have this album and I fully recommend it to anyone who feels they would enjoy some pounding Italian electro beats; it is fantastic. You can listen to the entire album here.

Anyway, back to the advert. This is brilliant, original and, above all, shocking. I just watched this by myself in a dark room after midnight and it totally freaked me out. Enjoy :)
